Visiting a ghost town in the UAE
On a press trip in Ras Al Khaimah I spent a morning filming at the eerie abandoned village of Jzirat Al Hamra. I shot all the footage seen here (on a smartphone), and consulted with the editor on post production.

This video received over 2000 views in its first week on YouTube. It now has over 14,000 views and counting and remains out most popular video on the Rough Guides YouTube channel. The Women of Umoja
Funded by One World Media, I spent two months in Kenya to solely film and produce this short documentary on a group of women fighting back against oppressive laws, families and fathers in the Chalbi Desert.
